The Fulton Daily Sun-Gazette-1939:

The La Cross Lumber Company, at an all day meeting at the companies offices in Louisiana, Missouri, makes awards to employees, for the first time in the firm's history.

One of the two capital prizes, a gold watch, went to T.W. Rosser for fifty years manager of the Fulton yard of the company.

In addition to Mr. Rosser, two other employees of the Fulton Yard were honored at the meeting.


Death Cert#2931:

Turner William Rosser, 74, of 906 East Street, Fulton, died at 11:20pm on January 27, 1940 at Missouri Baptist Hospital where he had been a patient for eight weeks.

Dr. M. Kleinfelter, of St. Louis, pronounced death caused by Bronco Pneumonia. The informant was Albert Hoppe of St. Louis.

Mr. Rosser was born November 22, 1865, in Amherst County, Virginia, the son of Unknown father and Anna (Turner) Rosser, both born in Virginia. He was united in marriage to Ella Roberts and she preceded him in death on November 6, 1935. Mr. Rosser was an executive in a lumber company.

Arrangements were under the care of Albert Hoppe Services in St. Louis. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton.
