Fay M. Lefever Weiss, age 77, of 2737 Chapel Rd., Lancaster, PA, passed away on Monday at the Lancaster General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Abraham R. and Bertha L. Myers Lefever and the wife of the late George W. Weiss, Sr., who died in 1991.
Fay was a graduate of McCaskey High School.
She retired in 1986 following ten years of employment with I.T.T. Grinnell Company in the shipping department. She was previously employed as a seamstress for Lancaster Lingerie for fifteen years.
Fay was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a very avid reader.
A daughter, Cathy E., wife of Jeffrey W. Geiser, Conestoga; a son, Stephen C. Weiss, Lancaster; three grandsons, George W. Weiss, III, Joseph A. and John S. Geiser; a brother, Lydle Lefever, Manheim; and a sister, Alma Clark, FL survive her. A son, George W. Weiss, Jr., preceded her in death.
