Jonathan C. Heggs, age 60 of Eaton, OH, passed away suddenly Monday, June 23, 2008 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Oxford, OH. He was born November 13, 1947 in Dayton, OH to the late Clifford Eugene and Beverly (Priller) Heggs. Jon was a 1966 graduate of Chaminade High School, Dayton, OH. He was active in the Eaton Little League Baseball program for many years and was a former leader of the Lakengren Boy Scout Troop. He was the co-owner of Plastico Products Company, Camden, OH with his brother David for many years and recently assisted his son Jason in starting a new business, the Lean Machine & Tool Company, Camden, OH. Jon was also a very proud Grandpa to three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Linda Rae Heggs who passed away March 31, 1984; and sisters Cynthia Heggs and Shari Metzger.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Eric T. and Valarie Heggs of Camden, OH and Jason C. and Tonya Heggs of Eaton, OH; three grandchildren Benjamin, Isabel and Elijah Heggs all of Eaton, OH; brothers David E. Heggs of Eaton, OH and Richard P. Heggs of Columbus, OH; sister Deborah Yackley of Frederick, MD; mother-in-law Thelma Morris of Eaton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 28, 2008 with Pastor Ronnie Baker officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton, OH.
