RUCKER, Edna Marie (Evans) Age 88 of Hamilton (formerly on Prytania Ave.), passed away at 2:10 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Garden Manor. She was born August 22, 1919 in Shelby Co., IL, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Mahnke) Evans. On March 18, 1937 Edna married William Rucker in Newport, KY. She retired from the Hamilton City Schools as a dietician and was a member of the 9th St. United Methodist Church. Edna is survived by 4 sons, James E. Rucker of Hamilton, William R. Rucker, Sr. of Centerville, OH, Robert L. Rucker of Mission Hills, CA, and Samuel E. Rucker of West College Corner, IN; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; sister and brother-in- law, Leroy and Clereece King of Trenton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Shirley Ann King. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton.
