ARARAT, Va. - Mrs. Rosemary Mooneyham Moore, 65, of 984 Raven Rock Road, Ararat, died Thursday evening, Sept. 27, 2007, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born Nov. 21, 1941, in Monroe County, W.Va., to Nellie Watts Appling Wylie and the late Claude Wylie. Mrs. Moore was employed by First Citizens Bank, Pilot Mountain, N.C., and was a member of Fellowship Church in Ararat. Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Charles Russell Moore of the home; daughters and son-in-law Andrea Joy Large and husband Jonathan of Ararat and Cathy Moore Hobbs of Ararat; sons-in-law Marco Ruscelloni of Miami, Fla., and Ronald Hobbs of Lake Waccamaw, N.C.; grandchildren Kayla Siebert and husband Jonathon of Richlands, N.C.; Hannah Hobbs of Ararat; Christian Ruscelloni, Elleigh Large and Nathan Large of Ararat; mother Nellie Watts Appling Wylie of Ararat; brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Dolores Wylie of White Sulpher Springs, W.Va.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her father, Claude Wylie; and her first husband, Bill Mooneyham. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at Fellowship Church, Ararat, with the Rev. Kelly Geise and Dr. Jerry Whitlow officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the fund for the Dan River Park Memorial Pavilion (which will be built in memory of Rosemary), c/o Joy Large, 938 Raven Rock Road, Ararat, VA 24053.
