Anna Sophia Kraemer was born October 27, 1823 at Cruessow (sic), Germany, was married at Pomtow, near Doerlitz, to Michael F. Hintzmann (sic), which union was blessed with seven children, five daughters and two sons. In Oct., 1883 she came to this county and state with six children, her husband and one daughter having previously died. She made her home with her son August, where she died on the morning of Sept. 8, 1867 (sic), having lived a widow twenty five years. She was a member of the German Evangelical church in which faith she was raised and lived and died. She leaves besides her six children twenty-nine grand children (sic) and six great grand children (sic), also one brother living near here.
The funeral was held from the Evangelical church by Rev. Ad Woth in the afternoon the 9th, after which the remains were laid to rest in Plain View (sic) Cemtery (sic).
