Melanie Lynn (Fifield) Allen, 45, of Muskegon, Michigan, formerly of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2001 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. She was born June 30, 1955 in Valparaiso, to Edward and Carol (Porter) Fifield. Surviving her are her daughter, Bobbi Jones of Muskegon, Michigan and grandson, Joshua Lee Walker Thompson; her mother, Carol Fifield of North Judson, Indiana, her father and stepmother, Edward and Cori Fifield of Valparaiso, and her two sisters, Kristi Leach of DeMotte, Indiana and Beth tyler of Valparaiso.
A memorial service will be held for Melanie at 11 A.M. Friday, April 20, 2001 at the New Life Wesleyan Church in Chesterton, Rev. Mike Cloud will officiate. The Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso, is handling arrangements. 219- 462-4102.
