Graveside services for Donald Ray Shoemake, 62, of Buckholts will be 2PM Tuesday at Friendship Cementary near Buckholts with Rev. Reardon, officiating.
Mr. Shoemake died Saturday at a Temple nursing home. He was born in New Braunfels and was a retired credit manager. He was a Baptist, a member of the American Legion post in Cameron, and a Milam County 4-H Leader.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lillie Shoemake of Buckholts; 2 daughters, Lorna Shoemake and Lori Cruz, both of Buckholts; 2 brothers, John Shoemake of Austin and Barry Shoemake of Missouri City; a sister, Sharon Hartman of Arlington; and grandchildren, Carmela ,Christina, and Thomas Cruz of Buckholts. Nieces & Nephews: Sherri Shoemake, Nona Hartman, Connie Flores, and Shawn Shoemake of Texas; Michael Hartman of New York. Great-Nieces & Nephews: Esmeralda Anne, Stephanie, & Christopher Flores; Aimee and Jamie Hartman, and Sydney Shoemake, all of Texas
Green Funeral Home in Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
