Wife of James A. Cook and daughter of John and Eliza Cook. She was a member of the Reformed Church in PA but joined the Brethren Church after moving to Lanark in 1885. She and James had ten children: Sylvester, John Stoler, William McSherry, Eliza Jane, James McCoy, Charles Alexander, Eugene B., Catherine, Harry Stoler, Oscar James. Three of the children died young.
