Maj. Robert W. Mutchler, 58, originally of Burgoon, Ohio died Feb. 27, 2000.
He was born the son of Freddie W. and Bernice (Joseph) Mutchler. Maj. Mutchler was a 1960 graduate of Jackson-burgoon High School, a 1964 graduate of Bowling Green State University and in 1965 completed Officers Candidate School and was commissioned second lieutenant.
Maj. Mutchler served in Viet-nam, Korea, the Philippines, Iran and Fort Hayes Columbus. He retired as a major from White Sands Missile Range, N.M. in 1986, after 22 years of active duty.
Survivors include sister Susan Rutherford of Fremont; brothers Steven of Wakeman and Michael of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles.
Services: Were March 2, at Restlawn Funeral Home, El Paso, Texas.
Burial: Restlawn Memorial Park, El Paso.
