William Collins Jones HOT SPRINGS
Services for William Collins Jones, 86, of Hot Springs, will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Veteran's Administration Chapel in Hot Springs by Chap. William Wintz. Burial will be in Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis under direction of McColley's Chapel of the Hills at Hot Springs. Jones died Saturday at Hot Springs Veteran's Administration Medical Center. He was born May 12, 1894, at Castle Rock, Colo. He received his education at Castle Rock. He served in World War I from 1917 to 1919. He married Ethyl M. Grubb Aug. 9, 1932, at Denver, Colo. Jones was employed in janitorial service for the Disabled American Veterans. He was also a tile-setter's helper. He lived in the Castle Rock, Lakewood, Colo., and Hot Springs areas. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Jones is survived by his wife. Ethyl of Hot Springs; one son, Albert Jones of Denver, Colo., and one sister, Rebecca Byrne of San Francisco, Calif. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
