Robert J. Loos, 94, died Monday, August 23, 2004 at Miller's Merry Manor in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, he was the son of the late U.J. and Alydia Loos and was a Salesman with Peter Eckrich & Sons and also a manager for Reliable Stores, Pape Paints and Hanna Decorating Center. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Dorothy Loos of Fort Wayne; daughters, Carolyn (Richard) Dominique of Seminole, FL, Rosalyn (Edward) Duehmig of Fort Wayne; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Bersch of Los Angeles, CA, Elizabeth Brennan of Fort Wayne; preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Strodel Loos; daughter, Marilyn Loos Mauldin; sisters, Virginia Loos, Dorothy Loos, Jeanette Angold and brother, Franklin Loos. ''The family would like to thank the caring staff of Millers Merry Manor.'' Mass of Christian Burial 10am Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald St. with calling 1 hour prior to the service. Calling also 2 to 5 & 7 to 9pm Thursday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
