Calhoun City - Services for Ruby Raulston, 93, who died Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home were held Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City. Rev. Jimmy Vance assisted with the service and Rev. Jamie McMahan brought the message. Interment was in Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma.
Mrs. Raulston was born July 11, 1911 to George W. and Era Hillhouse Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Gaskin of Big Creek, Bobbie Krantz of Galveston, TX, and Sandra McMahan of Memphis; three sons, Wayne McMahan of Calhoun City, Jamie McMahan of Hammond, IN. and Michael McMahan of Bruce; one sister, Jewel Rhodes of Memphis; one brother, henry Ruel "Buddy" Johnson of Winterhaven, FL; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Johnson and Era Hillhouse Johnson; two husbands, Joe Oliver McMahan and Charles Raulston; two son, Harold Mcmahan and David McMahan; four brothers, Cletis Johnson, O.G.
