Alice Mary Hartman Rogers, 86, Bradenton, died April 21, 2002. She was born May 4, 1915, in Brighton, Mich., and came to Bradenton 24 years ago from northern Virginia.

She worked at the State Department in Washington, D.C., during World War II. She retired as a legal secretary in Virginia.

She was a life member of Blake Medical Center Auxiliary and El Conquistador Country Club, both in Bradenton. She was a member of the Corvair Owners Society of America, the Gulfcoast Corvairs and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, R. Donald; a daughter, Marcia Collie; a sister, Ernestine L. Wilkens of Falls Church, Va.; and four grandchildren.

Inurnment was Monday at National Memorial Park in Falls Church. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. May 14 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Bradenton. National Funeral Home, Falls Church, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the music program at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3200 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205.
