Denton Austin Clark, born Madison County, Kentucky September 12, 1879, died in Terrell August 20, 1922. He was a member of the Baptist Church, K. P. and Odd Fellows lodge. He had lived in Texas for about 37 years and in Terrell for about 11 years. He married Miss Ada Bishop in June 1911 and two children born. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ada Clark, H. B. and Frank Clark, one brother, S. A. Clark and four sisters, Mrs. Ella Hall, Mrs. Vic Smith, Mrs. Clara Childs and Mrs. Myrtle Lyphoon. Interment today in Weaver Cemetery beside his brother who died in 1918.
