Daughter of Joshua Skidmore and Hope Ballinger. She married Isaac Orahood.

OBIT APPEARING IN THE EAST LIBERTY ECHO, FRIDAY 09/02/1910, PAPER NO. 21:
Mrs. Orahood, one of our aged citizens and life long resident of Perry Twp., died at the home of her son J.C. Orahood. Mrs. Orahood was well known and highly esteemed. The following is a brief summary of her life.
Frances Jane Skidmore, daughter of Joshua and Hope Skidmore was born Dec 27, 1833 in Perry Twp., Logan Co., OH, where she resided until 12/24/????? when she was united in marriage with Isaac Orahood. The following March, they moved to a farm 2 1/2 miles east of East Liberty where was born to them a family of five children, Jacob C., Charles W., Lillie B., Eliza Ann and Ozilla B. all of whom are living.
On April 17th, 1900 they moved to East Liberty where she resided until her death, Aug. 28, 1910 aged 76years, 8 months, 1 day, having spent her entire life in Perry Twp. Mrs. Orahood was the 4th dhild of a family of ? children of whom two remain, Mrs. Silas Moore of near East liberty, OH and Mrs. C.A. Rea of Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral services were conducted in the M.E. church in this place by Rev. Hedges, pastor of the Christian church at West Mansfield, Tuesday Aug. 30. at ?? o'clock. Interment East Liberty Cemetery.
