A funeral mass is 10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008, at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 410 Clay St. in Richmond, with the Rev. Manuel LaRosa officiating. Interment follows at Morton Cemetery in Richmond.
Visitation for Isaias "Junior" is 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors, with a 7 p.m. recitation of the rosary.
Junior was a master mechanic who, over a span of 35 years, worked for L.E. Meyers and North Houston Pole Line Company as well as being self-employed for a number of years. Jr loved hunting, fishing, working on his land, spending time with his trusty sidekick "Harley" and helping anyone and everyone who needed a hand.
Isaias Jr. is preceded in death by his grandparents, Felix and Florencia Reyna, and Adriana Mungia; and brother, Adam Joseph Reyna.
Isaias Jr. was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years, Carmen Mendiola Reyna; three wonderful daughters, Michelle Taylor and husband, Christopher, Monica Reyna, and Jessica Reyna; parents, Isaias Sr. and Teresa Reyna; brothers, John Reyna, Ricky Reyna, Larry Reyna, and Robert Reyna; and sisters, Rachel Gonzales, Carmen Rodriguez, and Terry Reyna.
