Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - Friday, May 24, 2002 A funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2002, in Estacada Funeral Chapel for Arnold Richard Cox, who died May 21 in an industrial accident at age 74.
Mr. Cox was born April 7, 1928, in Estacada. He served in the merchant marine. He most recently lived in Oregon City and owned Sherwood Sand for about the past 30 years.
In 1949, he married Ellen Freeman; they divorced. He married Eloise McCoy in 1973; she died in 1990.
Survivors include his daughters, Gerri Lettenmaier and Lori Pomeroy; son, Bill; brother, LeRoy; and three grandchildren.
