Mrs. Loucetta Burcher, Somerton's oldest resident, died at her home there Sunday 2/20/1938 at the age of 91. She had been ill for a long time, and for the past two years had been bedfast.
Mrs. Burcher was born at Uniontown, PA November 16, 1846. She was the daughter of Abram and Mary Waggle. and the widow of Benjamin Burcher, who preceded her in death and number of years ago.
Surviving their mother are five children, Dr. William Burcher of Beallsville, James Burcher of Quaker City, Garfield Burcher of Somerton, Mrs. Lillie Hamilton of Birmingham Al, Mrs. Lottie Ensley of Somerton.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home at Somerton, with Rev. James Gallagher officiating. Burial was made in the Southern Cemetery, and Steele Funeral Services was in charge of all arrangements.
