Mary Ann Blass/Bloss' body is actually buried in Forest Home Cemetery, in Forest Park, Illinois, with her toddlers: Harriett E. and George D. Her grandson, Warren, does not know why her body is buried there. At the time of a family trip to Acacia Cemetery, my father-in-law said in passing that his grandmother was not buried in the site that memorialized her memory. After a little sleuthing, I found her remains and those of her children buried in Forest Home Cemetery; although, her son, Robert had a headstone placed next to his father's gravesite in Acacia Cemetery.

George W. Phelps died on 25 September 1908. He was originally buried in Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery in Hillside, Cook, Illinois. He committed suicide as noted by the coroner, "from Gas Asphyxiation with suicidal interest while mentally unbalanced at his home 1045 Van Buren Street, Chicago. Directories show that Mary, Robert, and Herbert lived on Van Buren Street at the time of death, but appear to have lived in a different building.

In 1936, George's son purchased a 4-plot lot in Acacia Cemetery. The only reason that can be determined is the cemetery established an area for individuals who participated in the Mason organization. Robert was a head member of this organization.
