THE TUSCALOOSA NEWS - November 19, 1996

Adam Victor "A.J." Sartain, Jr., 58 of 4624 Peachtree Lane, Tuscaloosa, died Nov. 17, 1996, at his residence.

Services will be at 7 tonight at Sunset Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Cheeks officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Sunset Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his daughter, Janet Lynn Sartain Skinner, and his son-in-law, Craig Phillips Skinner, of Tuscaloosa; son, Anthony Victor "Tony" Sartain and daughter-in-law, Melissa "Missy" Higginbotham Sartain, Tuscaloosa; sisters, Bety Gast and Janelle Mathews, both of Northport, and Ann Misko, Tuscaloosa; brothers, Alce Dee "Al" Sartain and Joel Wayne Sartain, both of Tuscaloosa; Grandchildren, Jonathon William Sartain, Anthony Grant Sartain and Rachel Ann Skinner, all of Tuscaloosa; eight nieces and nephews.

He was retired from B.F. Goodrich and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Pallbearers are Tommy Dockery, Jerome Dockery, Randy Frazier, Danny Misko, Jeff Misko, Glen Holeman and W.A. Lindsey.

Visitation will be from 6-7 tonight at the funeral home.

The family requests donations to Hospice of West Alabama.
