Funeral services were held at the grave in Riverside cemetery Monday, a large and deeply grieved band of friends and relatives having gathered to pay their last tributes of respect to the departed. The services were conducted by Rev. C. C. Derrick of the Dillon Methodist church.
Mr. Wallace moved to his section from Moore county, N.C., about 40 years ago and has been a valuable citizen in Little Rock and this vicinity since that time.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Flora Jane Wallace, five sons, R.W. Wallace of Fairmont, W. L. and N. W. Wallace of Marion, T. W. Jr. and A. W. Wallace of Dillon, one daughter, Mrs. W. J. Barber of Fairmont and two sisters and two brothers.
