BECKETT, Carolyn G. Age 68, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, June 17, 2008 at her residence. She was born September 6, 1939 and lived in Middletown most of her life. She retired as assistant manager from the Sherwin Williams Paint Store and was a licensed Cosmetologist who owned her own shop for many years. Carolyn was a person of many talents who had a passion for interior decorating, sewing, and painting. She was a volunteer at the Roosevelt Bingo Hall for over 10 years. Carolyn and her late husband loved boating and fishing at their summer home at Lake Cumberland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Addison and Ruby Gordon (Tatman) LeForce; her husband of 24 years, John Richard Beckett in 2006; and her sister Geraldine Stamper. She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Arnold, Middletown, Ohio, and Jan (Barbara) Arnold, Middletown, Ohio; 1 daughter, Jamie (Ted) McGuire, Somers Township, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Candice (Sean) Leary, Middletown, Ohio, Richard Taylor Montgomery, Middletown, Ohio and Jacob Addison Arnold, Middletown, Ohio; and 1 great grandson, Ethan James Leary, Middletown, Ohio. She is also survived by 4 stepsons and the extended family of John Richard Beckett. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Ohio.
