Blanche is the daughter of Ranklin Franklin and Sarah Jane (Hornback-Doran) McCay. She married Howard S. Butt Sr. on Feb. 27, 1915, in Macon County, IL.
Their children: Mrs. Velma D. Hazen, Howard S. Butt Jr, Quinten Dean Butt and Jack D. Butt.

Mrs. H. Butt Mrs. Howard (Blanche) Butt! Sr., 71, Of Rt. 3, Decatur died at 10:10 p.m. Friday in Decatur and Macon County Hospital.
She was born in Hickory Point Township on Dec. 9, 1896, a daughter of Franklin and Sarah Hornback McCay. Mrs. Butt was a lifelong resident .of Macon County. She was a member of the Boiling Springs Church of God. Mrs. Butt belonged to the Forsyth Rebekah Loge and WCSC of the Church. She married Howard S. Butt Sr. on Feb. 27, 1915 in Forsyth. He survives.
She leaves three sons, Howard S., Jr. and Quentin D, both of Decatur and Jack D. of Springfield; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Velma) Hazen of Shelbyville; a brother, Clifford McCay of Forsyth; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, with burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Calling time is after 4 p.m. Monday at the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home.
