TOOMSBORO — Services for Annie Yancey Lord will be at 2 p.m. today in Ebenzer Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Lord, 92, died Thursday, April 28, 1999. Born in Jasper County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Blanche Yancey. The widow of Robert Lord, Sr., she lived in Wilkinson County most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Marlene Tompkins of Toomsboro, James Lord and Franklin Lord, both of Dublin, and Emmo Lord of McIntyre; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
