Berner.-Anna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Roupp, Hesston, Kans., was born at Moundridge, Kans.: Dec. 29, 1892; died at Bethel Deaconess Hospital, Newton, Kans., March 25, 1949; aged 56 y. 2 m. 24 d.

Her parents, one sister (Mrs. Abigail Roupp Destine), and 2 brothers (Fred and Edward) preceded her in death.

On May 2, 1915, she was married to Homer Allen Berner, of Hesston.

The family lived on a farm near Hesston until 1944, when they moved to Newton. She grew up in a Christian home and attended the Pennsylvania Mennonite Church. She was a faithful wife, a devoted mother, and loved to do good deeds for others. She left a testimony that she was prepared to go.

Funeral services were held at the Pennsylvania Church March 27 by Earl Buckwalter, assisted by Earl Powell of the Nazarene Church. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
