Mrs Augusta Lee Greer, age 71, of Battletown, KY. died Wed. Nov 19, 1980 at 11:50 p.m. at Forrest City Memorial Hospital, Forrest City, Arkansas. She was born Jan. 23, 1909 the daughter of the late Eugene Ballard and Nora Dell Troutman.
She is survived by one son, Logan Wesley Greer, Jr of Jeffersonville, IN. 4 grandchildren; Richard R. Greer of Battletown KY (Wolf Creek Little Bend Community) Logan Greer, lll of Cocoa Beach, Florida.Susan Edelen of Louisville, KY.; amd Sherry Lynn Greer of Dallas TX. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs Maymie Taylor of Pensacola, Florida and 5 brothers; Albert Ballard of Pensacola FL. Edgar Ballard of Campton CA; Joe Ballard of Palestine, AK, and William Ballard of Phoenix, AZ
Funeral services were held Sun. Nov 23, 1980 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Cochran officiating. Interment was in Parr Cememtery and was direcdted by the Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.
