Betty Lou McDonald, 74, formerly of 36th Street Parkersburg, currently a resident of Eagle Pointe Nursing Home, went home to be with her Lord and Savior July 20, 2007.

She was born in Vienna, on June 1, 1933 a daugher of the late Jesse Grant Hart and Gladys Arena Gerlach Hart.

She attended the Vienna Church of God.

Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years; Charles R. McDonald, 3 daughters: Penny (Bill) Channell, and children: Jamie (Brock) Nazelrod, Grant (Kristen) Full, Vicki (Brett) Fury and children: Kaisha Stanley and Chad Day, Teresa Ruble and children Todd Cline, Randy Cline and Angel Ruble all of Parkersburg, 2 brothers; Jim (Anna Jean) Hart of Vienna, Glen Hart of Parkersburg, 3 sisters: Gladys Jonas of Parkersburg, Linda Sue Flaherty of Vienna and Emma JoAnn Peck of Laurel, MD. 3 great grandchildren: Kayla, Westley and Izaia, several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Marc Lee McDonald and Michael Dee McDonald, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services for Betty will be 2 PM Sunday at the Vienna Church of God, 1108 11th Avenue, Vienna with Reverend Wesley Vernatter officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery South. Visitaion Saturday 6-8 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg and one hour prior to services at the church.

The McDonald Family wants to express thier deepest appreciation to the staff at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home and the I.C.U. Staff at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital for thier care and support.
