Mr. Amster Theodore Pack, 80 years old, died at his home in, Vine Grove, Route 1, on May 21, 1960. He was born December 16, 1878 at Rock Haven, a son of John Marion Pack and Nancy Yates Pack.

He is survived by six children, James Pack, Edward Pack and Marie Coghill all of Route 1, Vine Grove, Mrs. Florence Greer of Pleasant Plains, Illinois, David Pack of Pleasure Ridge Park and Mabel Oaks of Fairdale; three brothers, Herbert Pack and Hardy Pack of Route 1, Vine Grove, Bee Pack of Brandenburg; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Beld and Mrs. Minnie Robertson both of Valley Station, Kentucky. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren; three step-children, Ernest Henderson of Kosomosdale, Mrs. Ella Roberts and Mrs. Hattie Colmore both of Louisville and six step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Buck Grove Baptist Church of which he was a member. Services were conducted by Rev. Joe Timmons with burial in Buck Grove Cemetery directed by Wright Funeral Home. Pallbearers were, Junior Pack, Roland pack, Charles Coghill, Donald Oaks, Gene Colmore and Donnie Colmore.
