Jasper Fouch, 82 years of age and one of the pioneers of Tipton county, died at the home of his siter, Mrs. Lyde Vice of Windfall, Saturday before noon.
Death of this pioneer was caused by complications and infirmites of his advanced age.
Mr. Fouch was the son of Daniel and Ellen Fouch, pioneers of the Windfall community where he spent most of his life. He is survived by the widow, formerly, Miss Sarah Smith of Arcadia, who is critically ill at this time, and four children, Mrs.Lydia Lee and Shirley Fouch of Indianapolis, Frank Fouch at Ft. Worth, Texas, and Dick Fouch, residing eaast of Atlanta. he is also survived by the sister at whose home he died and 12 grandchildren and a great grand children.
Jasper Fouch was one of the well known and respected citizens of the community. He was a charter member of the Windfall lodge of Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias.
Funeral services wil be conducted by the home of the son, Dick fouch this afternoon at one p.m. Rev. George D. Foster of Tipton officiating and burial will be in Dunkard cemetery near Arcadia.
