Sarah Leland Case was the daughter of Phineas Leland and his wife Sarah Winchester of Grafton, Worcester Co., MA. On March 9, 1806 she married Elijah Case (1781-1821), a widower of Grafton. The couple had one child: Elijah Leland (b. 1807). Sarah Case died less than a year later at thirty years of age.
