Born in Brooklyn, New York, Fred Greiner was a son of George and Lena Wahl Greiner. When he was 5 yrs. old, the family moved to a farm southwest of El Paso.

He was married to Miss Lucille Lape. She died December 22, 1936.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge.

He is survived by two sons, Joe of El Paso and Harry of Carlock; one daughter, Mrs. Caroline Dunn of Pontiac, Michigan; two brothers, George of Oakland, California (d. 1944) and Walter of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Erskine of Eureka and Mrs. Millie Bigger of El Paso.

Funeral services will be held at the Ficken Memorial Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
