She was born April 24, 1946 in Bethel Township to William and Susie (Glass) Sheaffer. She was the tax collector for Bethel Township from 1979 to 1990 and formerly worked at PPG Industries in Ford City. She was a member of the Cochrans Mills United Methodist Church as well as the Lenape Elementary PTO. Survivors include her Husband Russell Cleaver Jr. Whom she married May 24, 1975; her mother Susie (Sheaffer) Pepler of Ford City RD3; her stepfather Oliver Peppler of Ford City RD3; a daughter Amy Lynn at home; a stepson Todd Russell Clever of Templeton; a brother Victor W. Sheaffer of Ford City RD3 and a God-daughter Angela Marie Sheaffer of Ford City RD3. She was preceded in death by her father William Sheaffer on April 11, 1973. CLEVER - Friends of Gloria Fay Clever, 47, of Ford City RD3, who died Friday, Dec. 3, 1993 will be received from noon to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday at the Snyder-Crissman funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. James R. Myers officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Leechburg. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
