A funeral was held at Salemburg Baptist Church with the Rev. John Adams, Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Roger White officiating. Burial was in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. DeLancey was a native of Caswell County and the daughter of the late William Empson "Buck" and Isabella McKinney Byrd.
She was a homemaker. Mrs. DeLancey was a member of the Salemburg Extension Homemakers Club for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Zeb Vance DeLancey.
Mrs. DeLancey is survived by two daughters, Barbara Tew and husband, Tommy, of Clinton and Brenda Bass and husband, Keith, of Salemburg; five grandchildren, Bryan Keith Bass, Kevin Vance Bass, Chris Bass and wife, Jackie, Jackie Blanchard and wife, Crystal and Brittany Fann and husband, Robert; five great grandchildren, Courtney Bass, Caitlyn Bass, Aaron Blanchard, Jacob Blanchard and Elizabeth Blanchard.
