Father of Twins Dies of Polio at Hospital

Iowa City, (AP) Mrs. Dale Jensen of Algona was told Sunday her husband died at University of Iowa hospital Saturday afternoon of bulbar-type infantile paralysis.

The hospital superintendent's office said news of her husband's death was withheld from Mrs. Jensen because doctors feared the effect of the news on her. She had been in serious condition since she recently gave birth to twins in Algona.

Jensen, 21, was brought to Iowa City Tuesday in serious condition.
