Rupert Cotham Anderson was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 21, 1947. He was one of four children born to Rupert and Alice Cotham Anderson.,

Rupert served in the U. S. Army and received the rank of Captain in the Army Reserves. He was a physician who practiced in hospitals through out the United State. On Tuesday, June 3, 2008, Rupert passed away in Hickory, N. C. at the age of 61.

Rupert is survived by his parents; P. R. and Alice Lee Anderson of Arkadelphia Sister Melinda Harrison and husband Hugh of Clarksville Son Rupert Bryan Anderson and wife Onji of Allen, TX Daughters Alexis Morris and husband Ryan of Greenville, N.C. Kacee Anderson of Hickory, N.C. Three grandchildren: Mia Anderson of Allen, TX, Sincere & Lela Grace Anderson of Hickory, N.C. Nephew; Andy Harrison of the U.S. Marine Core.

Graveside services will be at 11AM Monday, June 09, 2008, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Brinkley with Rev. James Lowe officiating.
