TREZEVANT: Martha Etheline Powell, 85, died Friday, June 6, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Funeral services were Monday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant with Bro. John Forgy officiating. Burial followed in Locust Grove Cemetery in Bradford.
Mrs. Powell was born November 16, 1922 in Bradford to the late Allie T. Davis and Nora Jane Peevyhouse Davis. She was a retired HIS employee and homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wesley Powell; two daughters, Martha Harrington and Joyce Hill; two brothers, Horace Davis and Aubrey Davis; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include: one son, James Powell of Huntingdon; three daughters, Barbara Holt of Greenfield, Alice McDaniel and Anita Mayo, both of Gleason; 18 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
