James Bosen, 82, a member of the first class of Snow College, died Monday at his home.

A life-long resident of Ephraim, he was born June 28, 1864, a son of Hans Jensen Bosen and Anna Andersson Bosen. He married Emma Torena Johansen Nov. 24, 1887. She died in 1907.

Mr. Bosen recently filled a two-year mission for the South Sanpete Stake. Until his health failed he was a temple worker and secretary of the Ephraim South Ward high priest quorum.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lilly Larsen, Ephraim; Mrs. Rosella Jolley; Mrs. Myrtle Hill and Mrs. Mabel Christiansen, all of Provo; one brother, Hans Bosen, California; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Ephraim South Ward Chapel by Bishop Parley Christensen.

Friends may call at the Buchanan Mortuary Wednesday and at the home of Christopher Larsen prior to services.

Burial will be in the Ephraim Cemetery.
