Better known to most of us as "Sie" or "Tom", Thomas Edward Noble was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on January 10, 1924.

Tom grew up on a farm and ranch west of Nacogdoches during the Great Depression and early years of World War II. Upon graduation from Nacogdoches High School i May of 1943, he entered the United States Marine Corps and saw combat in the Battles of Guam and Okinawa.

After returning stateside, Tom headed for Coolidge, Arizona to resume a relationship with a beautiful, young girl by the name of Bernice Cogswell. They were married in Florence, Arizona on December 27, 1946 and returned to Texas to build a home and start a family.

Tom earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Stephen F. Austin University. A dedicated educator, Tom taught school for 37 years before retiring from his position at the La Marque Independent School District in 1984.

Tom may be remembered most for his duty and service to his country and family; his outstanding abilities as a teach and the lives he has touched; his appreciation and knowledge of history; his ability to fix anything and his love and generous support of others.

Survivors include Tom's wife, Bernice; daughters, Julie Cicero and Brenda Laskoskie; grandchildren, Shane Widner and Deidre Laskoskie; and great-grandchildre, Zoe Laskoskie and Grace Ann Widner.
