GEORGE J. WERSTEIN
George J. Werstlein, 66, died Wednesday at Providence hospital. Mr. Werstlein resided at 716 S. E. 34th avenue and was a retired butcher.

Mr. Werstlein was born in Grand Forks, N.D., December 7, 1889, and came to Portland in 1941.

Survivors include the widow Josephine C., three sons, Paul L. and George A., both of Portland; Peter F., Fresno, Cal.; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Berg, and Mrs. Robert Neese, both of Portland; and Mrs. Ivan Arnold, Salem; Mrs. A. M. S. Morgan, Chicago, Ill.; four brothers, Peter F. and Edward, Portland; Walter, Salem; and Albert, Los Angeles, Cal.; and one sister, Mrs. Hardy Nystrom, Salem.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Zeller Chapel of the Roses. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial park cemetery.
