Gloria Ryker was born July 26, 1934, in Tahlequah, Okla., the daughter of Gordon T. and Zora Griffith Ryker. She married Alan Allison Nov. 29, 1951, in Moline.
She had been employed as a purchasing agent for First Midwest Bank in Moline for 22 years, retiring in 1996.
She had been a deaconess at the church. She loved sewing, flowers and gardening, family and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook.
Survivors include her husband; sons and daughters-in-law, David A., Santa Cruz, Calif., Daniel R. and Debi, Long Grove, and Douglas L. and Amy, Moline; a daughter, Suellen M. Allison, Moline; a brother, Wayne L. Ryker, Moline; a sister, Joyce W. Mlekush, Moline; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
