ATHENS, Sept. 6.—The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Lockmiller, widow of the late Heiskell Lockmiller, was conducted from the First Baptist church in Athens Monday afternoon, Rev. W.C. Patton, Rev. A.M. Tomlinson and Rev. W.B. Creasman, officiating. Interment followed in McMahan cemetery near Athens. Mrs. Lockmiller was 61 years of age and had always lived in this community. She was a devout Christian woman, being a member of the Baptist church. She leaves six children, five girls and one boy. She is survived by six brothers and three sisters. Her son, Floyd Lockmiller, and sister, Mrs. Jonathan Wattenbarger, of Caddo Mills, Texas, arrived Monday morning to attend the funeral.
