Cora J. Crow
Mrs. Cora J. Crow, late of Canon Lodge, died there Friday. she was born January 4, 1899 in Spencer County, Indiana and was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Crow had been a resident of Canon City since 1969, moving here from Colorado Springs. She had resided in Colorado Springs since 1927, moving there from Minnesota.
A member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Mrs. Crow also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary FOE No. 143, the Auxiliary Mother's Club, the Women's Relief Corps, all in Colorado Springs, and was a former member of the Colorado Springs Navy Mothers Club, also in Colorado Springs.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances M. Knight of Canon City; a son, James M. Crow of California; a brother, James Davis of Rockford, Ill.; six grandchildren, two of whom reside in Canon City, [survivor information omitted to protect the privacy of living individuals]; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colorado Springs with the Rev. Robert McGrath officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs
