"Austintown - Mrs. Sarah Dustman Corll, 92, widow of Eli Corll, died Friday in the South Side unit Youngstown hospital where she was taken after sustaining a broken hip in a fall two days previous. Deceased was born in Boardman Nov. 20, 1838, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dustman. Her husband died many years ago. Most of her life was spent in Austintown, but for a few years resided in Canfield. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Samuel Mullineaux and Mrs. Alberta Davis, Austintown and a son Howard of Youngstown, also three grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Miller, aged 95, of Four-Mile-Run road, who was able to attend the funeral services conducted by Rev. Lang Sunday afternoon in the Austintown Reformed Community church, of which the deceased was a member. Interment was made beside her husband in Zion cemetery, north of Canfield."

"Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Corll - Funeral services for Mrs. Eli Corll, aged 92, Austintown, one of the oldest residents of the Mahoning Valley, who died yesterday at the South Side unit, of the Youngstown Hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Reformed Church in Austintown. Mrs. Corll's death was caused by a fall in which her hip was broken. She had been in normal health until the fall a few days ago. Her husband for years was the proprietor of the Meander Hotel, a popular roadhouse at Austintown between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, 65 years ago. It was also the social center in that section of the valley. Mr. Corll died 48 years. Mrs. Corll, whose maiden name was Sarah Dustman, was born in Boardman, which was then known as a part of Trumbull County. She leaves the following children: Howard Corll of Youngstown; Mrs. Samuel Mullineaux of West Austintown; Mrs. Alberta Davis, Chicago, and Mrs. William Williams. A sister, Mrs. L. Miller, of Four Mile Run, also survives. Burial will be in the Reformed Cemetery near Canfield."
