Anchorage resident Adrienne Kelly Sluder, 26, died Aug. 25, 2005, at her home of natural causes. A service was held with a visitation at Kehl's Forest Lawn Chapel, 11621 Old Seward Highway. Flowers were welcome. The Rev. Barry Hildebrand of Skyline Four Square officiated. Interment was at Angelus Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sluder was born Jan. 8, 1979, in Gatesville, Texas, to Robert Crandall and Betty Thiesen. She lived in Fort Wayne, Ind., and Charlotte, N.C., until she moved to Anchorage in June. Mrs. Sluder enjoyed writing, painting, singing and making crafts. She worked as a personal assistant for Internet Services, a company her father owned.
Mrs. Sluder is survived by her husband, Shawn Sluder; mother and father, Betty Thiesen and Robert Crandall; maternal grandparents, J.C. Sr. and Betty Matthews Sr.; paternal grandparents, Jim and Donna Crandall; sisters, Dolly Thiesen and Jessica Crandall; and brothers, Brian Matthews, Joshua Crandall and Jacob Thiesen.
