"Lethcoe--At the family home near Independence, Or., Friday, June 4, 1915, at 6:30 p.m., John H. Lethcoe, aged 65 years.
Besides his widow, Mr. Lethcoe leaves six daughters and one son to mourn his loss, Mrs. Lena Fair, Wenatchee, Wash., Mrs. Ida Fair, Saskatchewan, Canada, Mrs. Belle Sheard, Salem, Or., W. Fred Lethcoe, Orr, North Dakota, Mrs. Bessie Foubert, Macleay, Or., Mrs. Emma Smouth, Oakland, Cal., Miss Maggie Lethcoe, Independence, Or., and thirty grandchildren.
Mr. Lethcoe was well known in Salem, where he had many friends. He lived here five years before going to Independence. The remains are at the Webb & Clough undertaking parlors. Friends can reach the family at the residence of Mrs. Chas. Sheard, 765 North 20th street.
The funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from Webb & Clough's. Rev. H.E. Martin will officiate. Interment will be at Lee Mission cemetery." OS Jun 6, 1915 4:4
