Mr. White was born in Branson, Missouri and came to California in 1944.
He graduated from Fremont High in Southern Calif., and later served his country during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Huntington Park Masonic Lodge and later Turlock Masonic Lodge No. 395 F&AM.
Mr. White settled in Turlock in 1990, where he was active volunteering with the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his loving family which includes his wife, Shirley Gayle White, his mother, Mabel S. White and son James W. White, all of Turlock. His daughter and son-in-law, Sharyn C. & Douglas Spirlong, and two grandchildren Sierra Rose and Michael Harlin, all of Rocklin.
