George Edward Archer retired from Naval Avionics after 30 years of service as Supervisor of Production Control; held offices in the Welfare and Recreation Board and was President of the credit union; and Active in NAFI's basketball, bowling, golf, horseshoe, and baseball leagues. George was the Santa Clause for many years at both NAF7 and other holiday events.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Henson and son David Archer.
Survivors are wife, Elsie (née Short); daughters, Paula Lachat (Jerry), Susan Middleton (Harold), and Pam Wilson (Ron); grandchildren: Todd, Ryan, Michael, Jason, Travis, Ashley, April, Melissa, David (Archer), Jennifer, Laura, and David (Wilson); great grandchildren: Allison, Andrew, Vanessa, McKenzie, Jordon, Rylee, Taylor, Cody; sisters, Sally Wheeler (Myron) and Sara Larsen.
