EAST WENATCHEE _ Alice A. Erickson, 98, of East Wenatchee, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1992, in Central Washington Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 1, 1894, to Edward and Anna (Vigen) Erickson at Astoria, S.D. She was raised and educated in the Astoria area.

She married Emil Hendrickson in 1910 at Watertown, S.D. They later moved to Minnesota, where she worked as a midwife.

She moved to Oregon in 1940 and from Portland to Wenatchee in July 1942.

She worked for Valley Evaporator for many years and also seasonally at Skookum. She later worked as a caregiver for private home patients.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Arnold Hendrickson of Erskine, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Dora Rouland and Mrs. Mabel Hestnas, both of Oklee, Minn., and Mrs. Doyle (Gladys) Hansbrough of East Wenatchee; a brother, Doranc Erickson of Duluth, Minn.; a sister, Elma Thorsen of Duluth; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons and a granddaughter.

Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley at East Wenatchee.
