OBIT - Ralph Kibler, 87, of rural Hidalgo, died at 11:57pm Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1982 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Don Shanks.
He was born on April 16, 1894, the son of Washington and Louisa (Clemons) Kibler. He married Edna Belle Andrews in 1914 and she died in 1916. He married Hazel Edith Parcel in 1918 and she died in 1978.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Edna; his second wife, Hazel; two brothers; two half-brothers; and three sisters.
He was a farmer and a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Yale. He was a former elder of the church.
Surviving are: two sons, Clifford and Kenneth; four daughters, Mrs. Delores Lupi, Mrs. Mary Alice Shanks, Mrs. Iline Simpson, and Mrs. Wilma Smith; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:30pm in the Barkley Funeral Home, Greenup. Burial will be in Hunt Cemetery in Jasper County.
